Turn Reels into subscribers. Turn subscribers into sales. One coffee break at a time.

Your First Digital Product Should Be Small, Specific, and a Little Boring

If you’re stuck because you have “too many ideas,” you’re not stuck. You’re overloaded.

Here’s what I’ve noticed. People delay launching because they think their first digital product has to be huge, polished, and impressive. Like a Netflix special.

It doesn’t.

Digital products are powerful because they can be delivered online without shipping or inventory, and once they exist, you can sell them again without rebuilding the whole thing.

So the move is not to build big. The move is to build small and sell it.

The “small, specific, boring” rule

Your first product should:

  • Solve one problem

  • For one type of person

  • In one format

  • In under 25 pages, or one template pack

Boring is good. Boring is repeatable. Repeatable is what pays you.

5 first product ideas that work in almost any niche

  • “Start Here” checklist

  • 2-page quick plan

  • Fill-in-the-blank template

  • Script pack (emails, DMs, captions)

  • One-week action plan

The best test

Ask yourself:

“If someone bought this today, would they get a quick win this week.”

If yes, you’re good.
